Ignacita Tafoya went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2002. She is survived by her children, Mary Garcia and husband, John, Andrea Lucero and husband, Tony, Eustacio Tafoya and wife, Josie, James Tafoya and wife, Elsie, Lucy Romero and husband, Augustine, Ray Tafoya and wife, Dolly, Rudy Tafoya and wife, Susie, Helen Garduno and husband, Tom, Erlinda Lucero, Bobby Tafoya and Theresa, Judy Candelaria, Pat Tafoya and wife, Rebecca, Esther Sanchez and husband, Raymond, Joe Tafoya, Fabie Tafoya; also 53 grandchildren; 99 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Tafoya; her son, Leo Tafoya; daughter, Sylvia Moya; granddaughter, Dominique Tafoya; and grandson, Tony Richard Oritz. Services will be March 17, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Felipe de Neri Church 2005 North Plaza NW (Old Town) Mass will be March 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons, Ray, Rudy, Eustacio, Robert, James, Joe, Pat, and grandson, Steven.
