Mrs. Evange T. Apodaca, 69, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on March 19, 2002. Mrs. Apodaca is the beloved mother to one daughter, Gera Apodaca-Provencio and husband, Jose; two sons, Mike Apodaca and girlfriend, Rose Otero, Jacob Apodaca and wife, Esther. Mrs. Apodaca is also survived by three sisters, Linda Cordova and husband, Tony, Nasaria Montoya, Natalia Andrews and husband, Tom; four brothers, Merced Tafoya and wife, Annabelle, Leo Tafoya and wife, Eva, Eloy Tafoya and wife, Mary, Jacob Borjorquez and wife, Betty; eleven grandchildren, Jared, Kevin, Brian, Steven, Miguel, Chris, Michelle, Yolanda, Natalie, Erica and Valarie; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Apodaca was a member of the Catholic Church. A viewing will be Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 Lizz and Larry Large, Annette Apodaca and Debbie Wood, reciting. A final viewing will be Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with A Communion Service to be held at 11:00am by Deacon Harry Beare. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be, Joe Gabaldon, Bib Apodaca, Abie Apodaca, Johnny Tafoya, Wayne Cordova and Stanley Tafoya. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandchildren. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
