Obituary for Koenigsberg

Clarence Koenigsberg, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Thursday, March 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gerline Koenigsberg; son, Jerrett Koenigsberg and wife, Sue; grandchildren, Kerry Smith and husband, Patrick and Dr. Peter Koenigsberg, and great-grandchildren, Kimberly Smith and Jacob Smith, all of Albuquerque. Before moving to Albuquerque, Clarence farmed and worked as a general carpenter in Sheffield, IA for many years. He also served the church in a number of capacities, including being a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Director and Deacon. He was currently a member of Del Norte Baptist Church, where he worked with the Mission Building Projects in several towns throughout New Mexico helping to build and remodel churches. Services will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Rev. Francis Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Monday, April 1, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire to make memorial contributions, they may be made to the Mission Building Projects Fund, c/o Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery NE, 87109.
