Mary L. Spackeen, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, and a widow, died Sunday, April 7, 2002. She is survived by her son, Stanley G. Gerlach; daughter, Katherine J. Davis; stepsons, Robert D. Aubrey and family, all of Albuquerque and David P. Spackeen and family, all of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, James D. Davis and wife Sonya, Laura L. Davis, John W. Davis and wife Stephanie and Gail E. Davis; and great-grandson, Spencer J. Davis. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Chaplin Larry Wills officiating. Entombment will follow the service. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, 6209 Hendrix NE, 87110.
