John Gillett, age 44, loving husband and father passed away on April 9, 2002 after a long battle with an illness. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four adoring children, Erik, Renee, Janet, and Jacob; and many family members and friends."Dad, throughout your illness you were always a great father. You taught us a lot about strength and courage. We will miss you and we love you."Visitation for John will be at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Road NE from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2002 with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2002 at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite children's charity.
