Obituary for Nichols

Ted W. Nichols of Los Lunas, NM, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002. He was a lifelong resident of New Mexico, born March 28, 1934, in Mangum, OK. He worked in road construction and was a contractor all of his adult life. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Nichols, and six children, Carla Sanchez, Vicki Martinez, Vonnie McNiel, Guy Willmuth, Tracy Nichols, and Ted Nichols, Jr.; seven, grandchildren, Danny Bunch, Layla Martinez, Voy McNiel, Phillip Willmuth, Tommy Otero, and Elizabeth and Sarah Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Aliyha Martinez and Mikaela Bunch; two brothers, Bob Nichols and Darrell Nichols; three sisters, Joyce Powers, Phyllis Sadler, and Vivian King; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Vivian Nichols and grandson, Josh Gallegos. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 19, 2002, 10:30 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Dave Blackwell officiating.
