Obituary for Darugh

Alice Marie Darugh, 90 years young, died peacefully Monday, April 15, 2002, at 6:30 a.m. She is survived by her son, David Darugh and wife, Gayle of Augusta, GA; daughter, Patricia Hamlet and husband, JB; granddaughter, Jane Hamlet; grandson, Roger Hamlet and wife, Barbara; great-grandsons, Benjamin and Jason Hamlet all of Albuquerque; nephews, Gordon Babbitt of Arizona and Marvin Babbitt of Illinois. Her husband, Fred Darugh, precedes her in death. Alice was Fred's devoted wife and constant companion for over 60 years. Together they operated several restaurants in Florida and California, and Alice was Fred's assistant on stage and off in the Diverting Darughs magic act. Private ceremonies and cremation have taken place.
