Carl E."Chub" Dickens 89, a longtime resident of Albuquerque Died on April 17, 2002. He was born September 6, 1912 in the"Little Stone Jug" in Newfield, New York. Chub was preceded in death, by his wife, Ellen A. Dickens; and is survived by his daughter, Lisa Maurer and husband, Stephen; sons, Carl E. Dickens Jr., John A. Dickens and wife, Lynne and Casey Dickens; grandchildren, Gretchen and Elizabeth Dickens and Antal Maurer; and step-grandsons, Dennis and Clint Phillips. Chub is also survived by numerous friends. Chub was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed. A picnic and memorial are planned for 12:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002 at Dixon's Apple Orchard.
