Obituary for Juarez

Benito Juarez Sr. 33, beloved and dedicated father, husband and brother lost his fight to cancer on Friday, April 12, 2002 at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Born in Namiquipa, Chihuahua on April 14, 1968 to Simon Juarez and Gudelia Acosta Juarez, he had recently been employed at La Fonda Restaurant as a Manager. Prior to that, he was employed as a Manager for Gardunos of Mexico for ten years. Benito is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bolivar Juarez; and three sons, Benito Jr. 11, Luis Angel 7, and Carlos Juarez 2; other survivors include three brothers, Rogelio and Erasmo Juarez of Dona Ana and Refugio Juarez of Las Cruces; four sisters, Evila and Guadalupe Juarez of Albuquerque, Irma Lechuga of Denver, Colorado and Elizabeth Chacon of Clovis; many nephews and nieces also survive him. As was his wish to move to Las Cruces, NM to live, Benito was laid to rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM. Serving as Casket Bearers were Rogelio, Erasmo and Refugio Juarez, Jose Luis and Victor Bolivar and Alfredo Rodriguez. Honorary Bearers were Rolando Chacon and Martin Lechuga. A Mass in his honor will be held at a later date in the Albuquerque area.
