Obituary for Torres

Antonio G. Torres, 70, passed away on April 18, 2002. He is survived by two brothers, Jose M. Torres and wife, Elvina and Demetrio Torres and wife, Maria of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Brijida T. Romo of San Antonio, TX, Aunt Luisa Otero from Peralta, NM; many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Mr. Torres was a member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, a member of Council 9340 KC and the Eucharistic Ministry. He served his country in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War and worked at Sandia Laboratory for forty five years. Antonio will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday also at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
