Patrick Timothy Mack, born September 19, 1978, died suddenly Saturday, April 20, 2002. He graduated from Manzano High School in 1997, and was a junior at the University of New Mexico. He excelled in many athletic activities and was a distinguished student. Patrick had numerous precious friends. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patti and Jack Scherer; his brothers, Christopher Mack, Brian and Chris Scherer; his father, Kim Mack; his grandparents, Oliver and Becky Frei, Mary Mack, and Jean Scherer; his great grandmother, Mary Frei; his aunts and uncles, Lori Carroll, Barbi and James Grace, Larry Frei, Sean and Lynn Frei, Lee Hightower, Tex and Terri Scherer, and Bruce Scherer. His many cousins included Kathryn and Kristina Grace, Donald and Brandon Carroll, Brian and Jason Frei. He had a great aunt and uncle Janet and Paul Tafoya. Special thank you from the family to Matthew Henderson for his long and endearing friendship with Patrick.
