Ricardo Olvera, 58, a resident of Rio Rancho, died on April 23, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Leticia of the family home; two daughters, Laura Escudero and husband, Ernesto and Maria Teresa Rueda and husband, Rodolfo all of Rio Rancho; two sons, Rogelio Olvera and wife, Myrna and Ricardo Olvera Jr. and wife, Stacy all of Rio Rancho; ten grandchildren, Ernesto, Nicholas, Antonio Thomas and Isaac Jesus Escudero, Alejandro and Rodolfo Rivera Jr. and Myrna, Theresa, Christine and Andre Olvera. seven sisters, Hortencia Olvera Mancillas, Francisca Castillo and husband, Thomas, Magdalena Carlos, Maria Luisa Hurtado, Amparo Serafin, Esperanza Soto and husband, Anastacio, and Rosario Olvera; a brother, Leoncio Olvera. Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks North of Paseo Del Norte) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Pallbearers will be Rogelio and Ricardo Olvera, Ernie, Nickolas and Anthony Escudero and Leoncio Olvera. Honorary pallbearers will be Leticia Olvera, Laura Escudero and Maria Teresa Rueda. French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
