Ruby Juanita Broyles, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1997, died Saturday, April 27, 2002. She is survived by her brother, William S. McElvaney; nieces, Carol Skaggs and Susan Davis, all of Albuquerque; brother, James Allen McElvaney and wife, Billie of Hobbs; nieces, Naomi Jordan of Hobbs and Ann Smith of Odessa, TX; nephews, Bob McElvaney of Hobbs and Frank McElvaney of Odessa, TX; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Anderson McElvaney and Cordelia Texas Hunt McElvaney; her brother, Malcolm W. McElvaney; her 1st husband, Herbert L. Gunter; her 2nd husband, J. Curtis Broyles; and her nephew, James McElvaney. Services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Lemuel M. Boyles officiating. Interment will take place Friday, May 3, 2002, at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, TX. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
