Gregorio M. Garcia, 93, passed away on May 6, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Eliza; son, Juanito; sister, Anita Ramirez; stepdaughter, Amelia Torrez; special niece, Remedios Balido; other numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmen; and brother, Sam. He retired from the Pacific Railroad. Services will be held today at 10:00 a.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave., S.E., with Rev. Richard Mansfield officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd., SE. Pallbearers will be Rael Garcia, Antonio Garcia, Alfred Garcia, Frankie Garcia, Manuel Torres and James Lunsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southside Church of God, P.O. Box 12837, Albuquerque, NM 87195.
