Obituary for Witherspoon

Frank G. Buddy Witherspoon, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2002. He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn Hennington and husband, Robert of Scottsdale, AZ; son, Neil Witherspoon of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Suanne Johnson and husband, Eric of Noblesville, IN; great-grandson, Patrick Hurley and wife, Jill; and great-great-granddaughter, Allison Hurley, all of Phoenix, AZ. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Witherspoon. He was born and raised in Hereford, Texas, attended Hereford High School and then went on to Texas A & M University. He then returned to Hereford and was a partner in the family business until 1958. He then moved to Albuquerque. Frank retired after 25 years at Kirtland Air Force Base and was a member of the University Church of Christ. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at West Park Cemetery, in Hereford, Texas.
