Obituary for Kemper

Clarence"Bud" McDaniel Kemper, age 85, passed away Monday, May 6, 2002. A resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years. Dr. Kemper and his family came to Albuquerque in 1949 where he joined the Lovelace Clinic as a Rheumatologist. He practiced at Lovelace until his retirement in the early 1970's. Following retirement, he and his wife, Jean, lived aboard a sailboat for eight years, sailing in the Sea of Cortez off Baja California. His beloved Jean preceded him in death in 2000. Survivors include his two daughters, Mary Kay Rovelstad and her husband, Gary of Montevallo, Alabama and Peggy Gutmann and her husband, James of Middletown, Connecticut; four grandchildren, Lorien Rovelstad-Abbey and husband, Mike of Tallahassee, FL, Tanya Rovelstad of Lexington, KY, Christopher Gutmann of Tempe, AZ, and Ethan Gutmann of Boulder, CO; as well as two great-grandchildren, Colin and Aidan Abbey of Tallahassee.
