Obituary for Mcbride

Betty Ruth"Judy" McBride was reunited with her beloved husband, Harold Clement"Mac" McBride, in Heaven after her passing this week. Harold passed away on December 22, 1996 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and has since been greatly missed. Betty passed away shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer. She was predeceased by her mother Linnie Annetta Schwartz, sister, Lauretta Linnie Patrick, and brother Mac Birge. Harold and Betty moved to Albuquerque from Jackson, Ohio in 1955. Harold retired from The University of New Mexico after many years of service. Betty retired from ARMCO Steel after 22 years of loyal service. Their daughters Vicky Jo Brunner and Toni Coleen Shields, and husband Jack, survive the McBrides as well as Laura Lee Flynn whom was loved as a daughter, and her daughters Kathy Lou Flynn and Jamie Lee Flynn- They are also survived by grandchildren Judy Jo Hendrix and husband, Terry, of Buckly, WA; Robin Raylene Warner, of Albuquerque; Annetta Lin Dehart of Albuquerque; Mac Wayne Dehart, of Buckly, WA; Amber Lea Bryant and husband, Paul, of GrandForks, ND; Cari Coleen Kincannon and husband, Cliff, of Albuquerque; and David Scott Brunner and wife Anna, of Alexandria, VA. Betty and Harold will also be greatly missed by their great-grandchildren: Vicky Lin Dehart, Tammy Jo Hendrix, Daniel Adams Bryant, Matthew Duane Hendrix, Amanda Rayleen Bryant, Nicholaus Calvin Warner, Tristen Mills Warner, Michael Vincent Brunner and Harley Ann Kincannon. The family would like to thank the loving nurses and personnel at Lovelace Medical Center and Lovelace Hospice. Kathy, Kim and Pam of Hospice[ice were a wonderful blessing during our family's walk through Betty's last weeks. Thank you also to Ruth, our Hospice Volunteer. A special thank you to dr. Margaret Vining who cared for our beloved mother and grandmother through her later years. Through their years, Harold and Betty befriended and loved many people. Their passings will be mourned by special family friends: Kay and Jimmy Horton of Farmington, NM and Dolores De La Cruz, of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private memorial."Gog and Dad, forever in our hearts and prayers."
