Obituary for Basler

Eva M. Basler, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Donald J. Basler and wife, Cathi of Parker, CO and Timothy J. Basler and wife, Yoshimi of Roswell; daughter, Cynthia A. McMurtry of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Donald McMurtry, Zachary Basler, Ryan Basler, Sean Basler, Tracy Basler, Tony Basler and Mark Basler; great-grandchildren, Christoffer Basler, Carli Basler and Alexandria Basler; sister, Lorraine Green of Dubuque, IA; and niece, Pat Miranda of Amarillo, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald C. Basler. Mrs. Basler was a member of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Mrs. Basler being buried next to her husband.
