Obituary for Boyden

Hazel Lucille Boyden, 96, was a resident of Albuquerque since 1950. God called her home on Sunday, June 2, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Uhde of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. F. Boyden; four sons; one daughter; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Hazel was a member of Central United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Highland Senior Center. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2002, at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave NE, with Rev. Molly Ashman and Rev. Lyle Reece officiating. Interment will take place at Wacousta Twp. Cemetery in Ottosen, Iowa. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith, Vince, Gary, Earl, and Tom Uhde, Rodney, Virgil Jr., and Frank Hacker, Joe, Chris and Sam Boyden. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Hazel's honor to the Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave. NE, 87106.
