Mr. Jose Dejesus Lucero died Tuesday June 4, 2002 at the age of 89. He was born in Alameda on September 14,1912. He lived with his sister, Gavina Rogers and his nephew, Jacob Rogers in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by; his two brothers, Natividad Lucero and his wife, Rachel, Jacobo Lucero and his wife, Julia; two sisters, Senadia Sanchez, Connie Heuer and husband, Ralph; 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral Service for Mr. Lucero will be held on Monday at Sacred Heart Church where a Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be; Harold Apodaca, Walter Apodaca, Tony Gutierrez, Arturo Sanchez, Larry Bryant, Kevin Salazar. There will be Vistations on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. There will be a Rosary following at Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third ST. SW.
