Obituary for Singletary

Charles Singletary, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Viola Singletary of Albuquerque; children, Walter Singletary and wife, Carol of Ruidoso, NM, Linda Baca and husband, Jim of Albuquerque, and Charles Stanford and wife, Deanna of Oregon; grandchildren, Michael, Bonnie, Kevin, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Logan. Mr. Singletary was a member of Masonic Lodge, Temple 6, and was past president of the Shrine Chanters. He was also past president of the Civilian Conservation Corps-New Mexico. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, June 14, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
