Jennie C. Sanchez, 71, passed away June 15, 2002. Jennie was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 2, 1931 where she was a lifelong resident. She was the loving daughter of Sarafin and Lucy Candelaria. She is survived by her husband of 52 years of friendship and love, Silverio C. Sanchez. She is also survived by brother Onofre Candelaria and sisters, Dorothy Archibeque and Louise West. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Padilla; and niece Evie Lyndsey. Jennie worked her entire career as a safe, reliable, and dedicated school bus contractor for Albuquerque Public Schools for 30 years. She enjoyed transporting children to and from school and seeing them grow into young adults. Jennie enjoyed seeing her loving family on a daily basis which brought her much joy and happiness. She will be greatly missed by her friends and loving family which includes daughters Janet Richesin and Judy Trujillo, grandchildren, Shannon Richesin, Shawn Richesin, Julia Padilla, Jessica Trujillo, and four great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held as follows, Rosary 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and funeral mass Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Church. Funeral arrangements by Salazar and Sons.
