Obituary for Hobaugh

John E. Hobaugh, 85, loving husband, father and friend, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Saturday, June 15, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Stella G. Hobaugh of the family home; daughters, Nellie May Allen of Dallas, TX and Stella Jane Riley and husband, Robert of Beeville, TX; sons, Lloyd C. Hobaugh and wife, Joyce of Los Lunas and John A. Hobaugh and wife, Daphne of Farmington, NM; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Myrtle Kincer of Phoenix, AZ; and sisters-in-law, Bertha Bieter of Guysmille, PA and Mary Rosko of Stanton, PA. John enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale SE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Pallbearers will be William J. Hobaugh, Alan R. Hobaugh, Richard J. Hobaugh, Troy D. Hobaugh, Cody Plant, Donald Schaffer and Zacharia Riley. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandia Hospice, 4775 Indian School Rd.
