Aletha I. Davis, 45, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away June 14, 2002. She was a Board Member of the B.P.O.E. Ladies of Lodge #461. Aletha liked playing bingo and loved George Strait, angels and butterflies. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, George T. Davis, Jr.; daughter, Mary Davis of Albuquerque; son, William Davis of Albuquerque; brothers, Matthew McGinnis of T or C, NM, Donald McGinnis of Socorro and Edward McGinnis of Albuquerque; and sisters, Mona Danner of Hobbs, NM and Viola Hix of Albuquerque. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2002, 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2002, 11:00 a.m., at Highland Baptist Church, with Rev. Winfred Walker officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
