Julia Gualin, 79, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2002. She was born on September 5, 1922 in Guatemala C.A. and lived in Dallas, TX. Julia is survived by her sons, Arturo Gualima in Guatemala, Roberto Ruiz and wife, Rosa and granddaughters in Maryland; Noel Ruiz and wife, Donna in Albuquerque, NM, grandchildren, Rosa and Anibal Gualin in Guatemala, CA, and grandson, Kenneth Cordova in Albuquerque, NM. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
