Obituary for Good

1922-2002. Russell W. Good, 80, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2002. He was a resident of Belen for 18 years after his retirement from Quality Mercury in Bloomington, Minnesota in 1984. Russell, known as Bill to his friends and family, served in the infantry of the 70th Trailblazers Division during World War II before returning to his home in Norwood, MN and working with his father and brothers in the family business. He eventually moved to the Twin City area where he lived and worked until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia; sons, Russell K. and his wife, Melodie of Belen; Michael of Bloomington, MN; Mark and his wife, Barbara of Colorado Springs; and daughters, Mary and her husband, Paul Evans of Tampa, Florida and Colleen and her husband, Steve Hermansen of Savage, MN; his brother, David Good and his wife, Corinne of Albuquerque; his sister, Marlys Good of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Jeff Good and his wife, Kari of Belen, Kelly Good of Tucson, AZ, and Anne-Marie Good of Belen, Jim Evans and Dalena Good of Washington, D.C., Chris and Kalynn Good of Colorado Springs, Sara and Laura Hermansen of Savage, MN, Juli Evans of Tampa, Florida, and Raquel Johnson, and Paul Good of Bloomington, MN; as well as two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Norbert Sanchez on Saturday, June 29, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. to be celebrated by Father David Gallegos. Burial will take place on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen.
