Rafaela Rita Navarro, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, & friend, passed away July 27,2002. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Alfredo T Martinez preceded her in death. She is survived by her children; C.A. Navarro and family, Dianne Maldonado and family, all of Albuquerque, and Susan Avilla and family of Las Vegas, NV. Rita also leaves behind siblings and their families; Cecilia Trujillo, Christina Dominguez, Madeline La Febre, all of Albuquerque, Rebecca Hernandez, Flagstaff, AZ, Adelaida Martinez, Fairfield, UT; and her brother, Ernest Martinez of Big Bear, CA. Rita was aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her Uncle Tony Archuleta, Clayton, NM; and numerous cousins. Rita was much beloved by Aurora Navarro of Belen, NM. The rosary will be recited at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, 3 blocks north of Paseo del Norte, this Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Catholic Burial will take place on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE in Rio Rancho. The family expresses its appreciation to St. Pio and his intercession for miracles that were realized. French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
