Obituary for Fink

Arthur H. Fink died on June 2, 2002 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, and his beloved wife, Ginny. Arthur and Ginny were married 49 years. For 15 of those years, Arthur lovingly cared for his chronically ill wife. Arthur was a proud graduate of Staunton Military Academy and the Detroit Art Institute. After moving to the Pittsburgh area, he sold real estate and antiques. Arthur retired in 1979 from the Alegheny County Assessor's Office. The Finks then moved to Albuquerque for health reasons. Arthur described himself as one who liked to tilt windmills."Mr. Remarkable" was self-sufficient through his 90th year. Arthur is survived by many special friends at St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church, Bear Canyon Chapter #4380 of AARP, Share Your Care, and Solid Grounds Coffee House. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mark's, 431 Richmond NE. Arthur's cremains will be placed in the Columbarium at St. Mark's.
