Obituary for Perez

Eric"Eraclio" Perez went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2002. He was born on April 10, 1932. Mr. Perez also known as"El Galan" owned and operated Cristy Record's for 28 years, sang with various mariachi group's for 33 years and was a life long resident of Barrelas. He is survived by his wife, Marcella S. Perez of 52 years; two sons, Eric L. Perez Jr. and Louie Perez; sister, Jennie P. Vallez, special daughters-in-law, Patsy Perez and Isabel Perez; three grandchildren, Maria Elena Stephens, Vivian Perez, Luis A. Perez; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Perez will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stanley Gutierrez, Elias Ojeda, Luis Perez, David Vallez, Johnny Vallez and Andrew Perez. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
