Jerry Julian Valdez, 39, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 17, 2002. Jerry is the beloved son to Bernie Valdez and wife, Irene; Jerry is also survived by four brothers, Joe Valdez, Ronnie Valdez, Larry Valdez and wife, Nancy and Eddie Valdez; six sisters, Alice Chavez and husband, Tim, Emily Muller, Connie Valdez, Bernice Dorroh, Dorie Ann Valdez and Juanita Valdez; maternal grandmother, Edwina Gomez; his Aunt Dorothy Martinez; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Valdez, 1996. A visitation for Jerry will be Friday evening after 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Tibo Chavez. A final Visitation for Jerry will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 a.m. by Deacon Tibo Chavez. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Michael Garcia, Ronnie Valdez, Joe Valdez, Larry Valdez, Pete Marquez Jr. and Eloy Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be, Arthur Navarette, Daniel Valdez and Anthony Montoya. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
