Mrs. Cecilia M. Gurule, 77, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 18, 2002 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Gurule is survived by her three daughters, Mela Gurule, Yolanda Ruiz and Mary Alice Gurule and Michael Mora; seven sons, Ruben Gurule and wife, Sandra, Danny Gurule and wife, Lydia, Steve Gurule, Michael Gurule, Patrick Gurule, Peter Gurule and Clorinda, Richard Gurule and Loretta; one sister, Marcella Garcia; a daughter-in-law, Stella Gurule; 26 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gurule is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Gurule; three sons, Jose Luiz, Lupe and Gary; two grandsons, Jose Luiz Jr. and Jaime Cota. A visitation for Mrs. Gurule will be Sunday afternoon after 2:30 p.m. at Power House Church of God, 6235 Church Hill Rd SW with a Prayer Service to be held at 3:00 p.m. by Bishop Byron Rogers. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Power House Church of God with a Funeral Service to be held at 9:00 a.m. by Bishop Byron Rogers. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30am. Pallbearers will be, Lupe Gurule, Steve Gurule Jr., Daniel Gurule, David Gurule, Henry Ruiz and Roland Ruiz. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jesse Gurule, Richard Gurule Jr., Eloy Garcia and Johnny Gurule. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
