Obituary for Trujeque

Paul Trujeque, 80, a lifetime resident of New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2002. Paul was born March 3, 1922 in San Marcial, New Mexico. He had been a supervisor of maintenance for the Albuquerque Public Schools for over 22 years, before retiring. Paul had served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 13, and a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Paul is survived by his wife, Lydia of Albuquerque; four children, Jerry Trujeque and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, Simon Trujeque and wife, Patsy of Albuquerque, Larry Torrez of Albuquerque, and Carol Hill and husband, Chris of Edgewood, NM; four grandchildren, Robin, Renee, Dennis, and Jerald; and 15 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A Visitation will be held today, Saturday, July 20, 2002 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln.,Rio Rancho, with a Rosary being recited by Eileen Flores at 5:00 p.m.. A second Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2002 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary. The Rosary will be recited by Gaby Nieto at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna RD. NW, Albuquerque. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Roberto Fenzel as the celebrant. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, at 12:00 Noon on Monday, July 22, 2002. Pallbearers will be Robin, Dennis, Jerald, Renee, Simon, and Staci. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Pohl and Larry Torrez. Military Honors will be presented by the VFW Post 2951 of Santa Fe. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho, 892-9920.
