Obituary for Robledo

Robert Joseph"Robbie" Robledo, 18, passed peacefully in his sleep Monday, July 22, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Lola Neudecker and Frank Harding; stepbrother, Ryan Harding; grandparents, Lupe and Joseph Neudecker and Frank and Teresa Harding. He is also survived by his father, Robert O. Robledo, and the Robledo family of El Paso, Texas. He was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends who cherish his memory and will miss him greatly. A 2002 Graduate of Albuquerque High School, Robbie enjoyed his family, his school, work and his co-workers, and his friends. He loved going to the movies and listening to music, he liked to swim, to ski, and his favorite Peanuts character was Snoopy. He had fun over the years at Camp Enchantment, the American Cancer Society's annual camp for children with cancer, and the family would like to thank their staff. Robbie participated in life, filling his with many happy experiences in the time he had. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNM Children's Cancer Fund of NM, P.O. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care Robbie received over the past years from the UNM Pediatric Oncology Group and the doctors and nurses of the UNMH, to Dr. Michael S.B. Edwards of Sacramento, as well as to the staff at UCSF in San Francisco. We would also like to extend gratitude to all the friends who have provided emotional support over the years.
