Tobias"Toby" J. Griego, 87, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, July 25, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Annie Griego of Albuquerque; daughters, Agnes Collado and husband, Angel of Madrid, Spain, Kathy Garcia and husband, Narciso of Cedar Crest, NM and Vangie Griego of Los Angeles, CA; son, David Griego and wife, Rita of Mora, NM; grandchildren, David and Victor Collado, Aaron and wife, Marlo, Victor, T.J. and Paula Griego, Daniel, Andrés and Samuel Garcia; sister, Margie Apodaca and husband Manuel, numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. Toby was a former Franciscan brother for 12 years, and a WWII Veteran. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with Father Manuel Viera, OFM, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Griego, Daniel Garcia, Victor Griego, Andres Garcia, Samuel Garcia and Joseph Tobias"T.J." Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be David Collado, Victor Collado, Clyde Marquez, Joe Quintana, Paula Griego and Tomas Montoya. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
