Obituary for Perrin

Betty Young Perrin, 66, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away August 2nd, 2002 with her family by her side. She was born in Richmond, VA, April 19, 1936 and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1962. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Norman E. Perrin Sr. and her four devoted children, sons, Rocky and wife, Kim, Jimmy, Jeff, daughter, Mary and husband, David Young and grandchildren, Erik Perrin, David and Kaitlin Young, all of Albuquerque. Betty was employed by Mountain Bell from 1971-1983. She will be missed by many friends including Irene Brogdon, Jim and Georgia Owens and Laura Majcher. Betty was a very vivacious person often referred to as a small package of dynamite. She loved playing softball, gardening and spending time with family and friends, and also she was involved with Cub Scouting for many years. She loved helping others. Her caring ways and infectious laugh will live on forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 1935 Juan Tabo NE, on Wednesday August 7, at 3:00 p.m. (323-9000).
