Obituary for Padilla

Trinidad E. Padilla, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969 passed away Tuesday evening, August 6, 2002. Mrs. Padilla was born on November 1, 1912 in Cimmeron, New Mexico. She is survived by her loving children, Loretta and Walter Crespin of Albuquerque and her beloved grandchildren, Kyle Crespin and Kimberlee Crespin and fiancée, Jeff Richards. She is survived by her best friend and sister, Rufina Espinosa, sister, Mae Fernandez and husband, Louis, and brother, William Espinosa and wife, Sadie; numerous nephews and nieces, and many friends and neighbors. She is also survived by members of the Crespin Family who have embraced her as one of their own. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Padilla; her parents; sisters, Mary Padilla and Cleotilde Cordova and brothers, Ray Espinosa, Adolph Espinosa, and Franklin Espinosa. She was a longtime member of San Felipe Church and the DAV Auxiliary. Trini loved life and especially the time spent with her family. She will remain in the hearts of all those who knew her as a special lady. Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks N. of Paseo Del Norte) with Deacon Bob Lewis, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church, 2005 North Plaza NW with Rev. Jerome Plotkowski, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
