Frances Garcia was born in Albuquerque, NM. July 21, 1956. She went home to be with the Lord August 5, 2002, after a long illness. Frances was a wonderful homemaker, devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was viewed as a mother figure by all of her nieces and nephews. Frances enjoyed singing, listening to music, and worshipping the Lord. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Luz Joe Garcia of the family home; son, Jonathan Benino Garcia and fiancé, Christina Morales; step-son, Ronnie Garcia; mother and father, Stella and Simon Ayala all of Albuquerque; two brothers, Adam Libario of California, and Joseph Ayala of Albuquerque; three sisters, Mary Jacquez and husband, Pedro, Beatrice Sanchez and husband, Raymond, Sally Arellano and husband, Fred all of Albuquerque; numerous family, friends, nieces, and nephews who she was very close to. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. on Friday, August 9, 2002. A viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:00 a.m., concluded by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be some of her nieces and nephews, Pedro, Clayton, Barton, Della, Rosie, and Daisy. Honorary Pallbearers will be her remaining nieces and nephews.
