Gary 59, a resident of Albuquerque, died unexpectedly, July 29, 2002 in Sacramento, CA. Gary, born in Hugo, OK is survived by two children, Rebecca Maxey and husband Skip and son Richard, both of Modesto; two foster children, Denise Glover, Modesto and David Glover, Albuquerque; brother, Jim Hallmark; sister Joy Lucero and husband Joe; several nieces and nephews. Gary graduated from Valley High School in 1960 and served four years in the U.S. Army before settling in California where he owned and operated convenience stores. He later returned to Albuquerque and was forced into retirement by COPD. A memorial service and interment of cremains will take place August 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetary.
