Obituary for Bidewell

Kathlyn Ann Gray Bidewell, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Thursday, August 8, 2002 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kathlyn is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 66 years, George Ivan Bidewell. Also, left behind are cherished children, Susan, David and Janeann; 8 grandchildren; her sister, Carmen; and an uncountable number of true and loyal friends and family members in New Mexico, Missouri and elsewhere. Kathlyn's greatest accomplishment on this earth was being a wise and gentle wife an mother whose unwavering Christen faith was an example for all to see. She also, demonstrated her lifelong love of music in many way; collection and performing Ozark Folksongs, singing and playing the piano and other instruments for others enjoyment and to glorify God with her many talents. She was very active in PEO, Christian Womens, church groups, Republican Party, many charities and her Sunday school class. Cremation has occurred and a memorial celebration of Kathlyn's life is planned for her birthday, October 13, 2002 at the Chapel at Central Untied Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Noonday Ministry or any charity where people or animals need help.
