Obituary for Singleton

Milton J. Singleton, 95, a resident of Rio Rancho for 15 years, passed away on August 9, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Helen A. Singleton of Rio Rancho; son, M.J. Singleton Jr., and wife Bryonie of Rio Rancho; daughter, Joyce Limbaugh of Lake Alfred, FL; six grandchildren, Jennifer Pohle, Amy Romero-Gasman, Susan Limbaugh, M.J. Singleton, III, Aaron Adsit and Shona Hewitson; great grandchildren, Rita Pohle and Matthew and Emily Singleton. Milton attended the University of Tulsa. From 1934 - 1967 he was the Executive Director of the Tulsa Boys Home. Milton was president of the National Association of Homes for Boys. In 1960 he was a delegate to the White House Conference on Children and Youth. Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks North of Paseo Del Norte) In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tulsa Boys Home, P.O. Box 1101 Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74101-1101.
