Foxfire Horton, 53, passed away August 11, 2002. Born in New York, she was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, worked at the VA Hospital for many years and later worked at Isleta Casino. Foxfire is survived by her sons, Tony Freeman and wife, Terri, Joseph Freeman and wife, Sunnie; grandchildren Shyanne and Zion Freeman; sister Marietta Robinson; brothers, William Horton and Nathan"Buck" Horton; close friend, Deborah Stone; numerous family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 609 14th ST. SW., at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2002, with a potluck supper to follow.
