Obituary for Romero

Danielle Monic Romero, age 18, a beloved and devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, a recent high school graduate, a devout catholic passed away from this life to be welcomed into the kingdom of God on August 15, 2002 at approximately 8:00 p.m. in Placitas, NM as a result of an automobile accident. Danielle will forever be fondly adored and remembered by her parents, Leo and Tina Romero; and by her two younger sisters, Diondria Romero age 15 and Danisha Romero age 5. Danielle will forever be cherished and remembered by her loving grandparents, Arsenio and Valentina Duran and Rubel Romero, Sr. Danielle will not be forgotten by all her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Danielle was preceded in death by her infant brother, Dion Romero; her grandmother, Lucy Romero; and great grandmother, Aurora Valencia. Visitations will be today from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the San Antonio Mission Catholic Cemetery in Placitas, NM. Casket bearers will be Efren Garcia, Michael Romero, Anthony Romero, Louis Valencia, Lorenzo Gurule, and Diego Dominguez. Honorary bearers will be Danielle's two sisters, Diondria and Danisha; and all her cousins. Funeral services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street NW.
