Atencio- Mary Atencio Parra, 35, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, August 24, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Rick Parra; son, Jesus Trujillo and children, Roxanne and Ricky Parra, all of Albuquerque; parents, Felicitas Chavez and Robert Atencio and wife, Theresa all of Albuquerque; grandmother, Adela Atencio; brothers, Joseph Atencio and wife, Elaine of Bernalillo, Mario Atencio and wife, Annette of Albuquerque, Ray Atencio and wife, Lori of Albuquerque and Carlos Atencio; sisters, Monica Martinez and husband, Michael of Las Cruces, Sonja Atencio of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary graduated from Valley High School in 1985. She was a beloved mother. Rosary will be recited Monday, August 26, 2002, at 7:00 p.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 125 Carmel Ave. NE with Father Mark Honhart reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 27, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Mark Honhart Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvery Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Atencio, Ray Atencio, Robert Maldonado, Tony Maldonado, Daniel Maldonado, and Gilbert Romero. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
