Aloysius P."Pat" Guziewski, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1977, and coming to New Mexico from Brown Deer, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2002. Pat was born March 16, 1918 the son of Joseph and Josephine Roszmarynowski Guziewski in Milwaukee, WI. He was a former member of the Italian-American Club and the Rio Rancho Knights of Columbus. Pat was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Blanche of Rio Rancho; one sister, Evelyn Kruszka of Hartford, WI; as well as several nieces and nephews including Mary Biefel and husband, Alex, and Ron Wunschel. The Visitation will be held for Pat on Friday, August 30, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Cremation will follow Services. The Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in Vista Verde Memorial Park. it has been suggested that memorial contributions may be made in Pat's name to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
