Jose Romolo Gonzales, 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 27, 2002. Jose is survived by his wife, Estella; four children, Romolo Gonzales Jr., and wife, Josie, Dianne Allen and Husband Roosevelt, Anthony Gonzales, all of Albuquerque, and Margarito Gonzales and wife, Janice of Carlsbad; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Emerlinda Pargas, Lucinda Stanton, Ferminia Gonzales, all of Albuquerque, and Erenes Garcia of Tijeras; one brother, Fidel Gonzales of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Rosary and Mass will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th NW Albuquerque, 343-8808.
