Fred (Peck) Peckinpaugh, 88, a resident of Albuquerque, died suddenly Tuesday, September 3, 2002. He is survived by wife, Laura Hall-Peckinpaugh of Albuquerque; sons, Tom Peckinpaugh and wife, Judy of Benson, AZ and Dennis Peckinpaugh and wife, Lynne of Albuquerque; step-sons, Chester George Nilsen and wife, Ellen of Las Cruces, NM and Gary Nilsen and wife, Doris of Victoria, TX; step-daughters, Carol Blankenship of NC and Sue Burrow of Texas; sister, Winonah Tippen of OK; brother, June Peckinpaugh of TX; grandchildren, Greg Peckinpaugh and wife, Tammy of TN, Brian Peckinpaugh and wife, Carol of TX, Diane Tadlock and husband, Casey of TX, Michele Peckinpaugh and Anthony Velarde of TX and David Peckinpaugh and wife, Maureen Tansey of MA; six great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren. Mr. Peckinpaugh was a member of the Plumbers and Fitters Local Union #412 for 60 years. He attended school in Henryetta, OK and was a board member of Jade Park Neighborhood Association. He is a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, September 6, 2002, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..
