George P. Melini Jr., 25, went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2002. He was born on August 7, 1977 in Albuquerque, NM. Her is survived by his father, George Melini Sr. and wife, Kathy; mother, Ruby Montano, fiancé, Jessica Paz; daughters, Antoinette Melini, Chantel Melini, Jasmine Melini and Alexis Melini; sisters, Karla Melini and Wendy Melini; stepbrothers, Charles Richard and David Richard, stepsister; Crystal Richard; grandmother, Rufina Montano; aunts, Dorthy Laberret, Lorraine Williams, Gloria Montano and Margie Montano; and uncle, Nicolas Montano. George will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at the San Jose Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. A final viewing will be on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. also at the San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nicolas Montano, Fernando Trujillo, Bobby Montano, Edward Hatcher, Troy Mathis and Junior Gutierrez. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
