Obituary for Bordenave

Mary A. Bordenave born in Dodge City, Kansas December 16, 1914, and passed away at home in the presence of her children, on September 4, 2002, at the age of 87.¯ Mary moved to New Mexico in 1940, retired from Sandia Laboratories in 1974, and since then has enjoyed travel and spending time at her cabin on the Conejos River, in Colorado.¯ Mary was an active member for many years in both Eastern Star and White Shrine.¯ She is survived by her sons, Jean Bordenave, and Louis Bordenave, and wife, Linda; daughter, Kristine Bordenave and husband, James Feeney; grandchildren, Dayna Melvin, Yvonne Christner, Tiffany O¯Connell, and Samantha Bordenave; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Grayson Melvin, Megan and Leah Christner, and Tyler Zamora; nieces, Patricia Bordenave, Joleen McCormick, and Karen Kaul; nephews, James Wood and Charles Wood.¯ In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a family memorial service will be celebrated in the spring of 2003.¯ In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.¯ Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th NW Albuquerque, 343-8008.
