Domitilia (Tillie) Padilla, born May 17, 1921, died peacefully in the arms of her loving family on September 6, 2002.Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, Benito; and grandson Christopher Martinez. She is survived by her daughter, Christina and husband, Steve Lopez; son, Pro Padilla and wife, Virginia; grandson, Eugene Martinez; brother, Ruben Lucero and wife, Ramona; sisters, Dolores Sanchez and husband, Juan, Edna Sanchez and husband, Eloy, Cecilia Barela; sister-in-law, Olympia Lucero; and a very special friend, Sylvia Gonzales, along with a special nephew she helped raise, Felix Duran; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
