In loving memory of Maurice (Marcos) Cardenas, 28, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 8, 2002 as a result of a swimming accident. Marcos is the beloved son to Trini and Theresa Cardenas; beloved brother to two sisters, Antoinette and Angel and to one brother, Jacob. Marcos is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Wilfrido and Phyllis Cordova and Carmen Ortiz; special aunts and uncles, Willie, Barbara, Michael and Jeanette; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marcos was a member of Victory Love Fellowship Church and was an avid runner and weight lifter. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Marcos will be Thursday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW with a Funeral Service to be held at 4:00 p.m. by Pastor Jack Conner. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
